Advanced Engineering & Resonance Control The DG-X features a sophisticated three-layer cast acrylic plinth sandwich construction. This isn’t just for its striking aesthetic; the isolated sub-plinth and updated 6-point silicone isolation system work in harmony to eliminate unwanted resonance. Beneath the surface, a new microprocessor-controlled motor drive—derived from the flagship RG-1—ensures rock-solid rotational stability. The precision-machined aluminium alloy platter, now featuring a bonded PETG interface and Technomat as standard, provides a quiet, high-inertia surface that lets your cartridge extract every ounce of musical detail.

The Groove Runner X Tonearm Setting the DG-X apart is the unique “flat beam” Groove Runner X tonearm. By abandoning traditional metal tubes, Vertere eliminates the “ringing” resonances that often color the sound. The arm features a newly upgraded Tri-Point Articulated bearing (inspired by the high-end SG-1), offering incredible rigidity and frictionless movement. With its detachable arm beam, the DG-X allows for safe transit and easy cartridge swaps, making it one of the most versatile tonearms in its class.

Evolutionary Upgrades Every key component has been refined for the “X” generation. The main bearing assembly now features a high-tolerance brass housing with a tungsten carbide thrust ball for lower noise and rumble. The standard package has been significantly elevated, now including the DC2 Power Supply and Technomat as standard, ensuring that the DG-X delivers peak performance straight out of the box.
